This Humbucker was purchased in a left over parts lot from the Kalamazoo factory.  These double cream Tim Shaw Humbuckers were used in the Gibson Spirit model Les Pauls and are characterized as a hot wound Tim Shaw PAF. This one reads at 8.87K on my multimeter, just like the hotter wound PAFs of the 1950s.
