The AKG D12 VR is a dynamic microphone engineered for kick-drum recording, featuring a thin diaphragm optimized for low-frequency capture. It incorporates a C414 transformer for warm response at high levels and includes three active filter presets switchable via the microphone body to shape the sound character.
