Description
Allen & Heath Qu-7 is a 38-in/24-out 96 kHz digital mixer built around the XCVI FPGA core with variable bit-depth up to 96-bit and less than 0.7 ms local mic-to-main latency. The surface provides 32 XLR/Jack combi mic/line inputs, 2 stereo line inputs, 20 XLR outputs, 2 TRS outputs, an AES3 stereo digital output, and an XLR talkback input, along with 33 100 mm motorised faders across 4 channel-strip layers and a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen. Mixing architecture includes 38 inputs to mix (32 mono/linkable plus 3 stereo), 12 mix buses (6 mono/linkable and 6 stereo), 4 mono/linkable matrix buses, and a stereo main LR output. Recording and expansion include a 32x32 USB-C audio interface, SD card multitrack recording (16x16 at 96 kHz or 32x32 at 48 kHz), stereo USB-A record/playback, and an SLink port for Everything I/O expansion up to 128x128 channels at 96 kHz. DEEP Processing brings dLive-class processing, and the mixer includes Gain Assistant, Feedback Assistant, a 32-channel Automatic Mic Mixer, and 6 multi-FX engines.
