AMS Neve 1073DPX is a two-channel 2U rackmount microphone preamp and EQ based on the 1073 Class A design. AMS Neve specifies two independent 1073 transformer-coupled preamp/EQ circuits with Marinair input and output transformers, front and rear mic/line inputs, front-panel DI inputs, 48 V phantom power, switchable high/low mic impedance, -20 dB pad, polarity reverse, EQ in/out and independent output level controls. Each channel has 3-band inductor EQ with fixed 12 kHz HF shelf, six selectable mid frequencies, four selectable LF shelf frequencies and an 18 dB/octave high-pass filter. The unit also provides balanced insert send/return with pre/post EQ switching, 7-stage LED metering and mono/stereo headphone monitoring.
