Description
The AMS NEVE 1081 is a mono preamp module with integrated equalization, originally designed in 1972 for Neve modular consoles. It functions as a combined microphone and line preamplifier featuring high- and low-pass filters for tonal shaping. The module is hand-built in Burnley, UK using original components, hand-wound transformers, and traditional construction techniques. This brand new unit delivers the same Class AB circuitry and Neve-designed transformers as the original design.
