Description
The Avalon VT-737sp is a preamp and DI unit offering three input options: a microphone input with phantom power and transformer, an instrument DI input on the front panel, and a balanced line input. It features a Class A tube preamp with dual vacuum tube triodes, a passive high-pass filter, and phase reverse on all inputs. The integrated opto-compressor uses Class A tube triodes with full threshold, ratio, attack, and release controls, while the discrete Class A equalizer provides high and low passive-style bands plus dual swept mids with variable Q. Two units can be linked for stereo operation.
