BAE 10DCF is a stereo-pair compressor/limiter package with external 24 VDC PSU, based on the 10DC and adding a low-frequency bypass filter. Manufacturer and dealer documentation describe discrete Class A transformer-coupled circuitry, Carnhill and Jensen transformers, independent compressor and limiter sections, stepped Elma controls, true bypass, gain-reduction metering, and stereo linking. The sidechain/bypass filter has 50, 80, 160, and 300 Hz settings for leaving selected low-frequency content less compressed. Published specs list 5 Hz to 45 kHz frequency response at -1 dB, +33 dBu maximum output into 10 k ohms, +27 dBu into 600 ohms, and 200 mA power consumption at 24 VDC.
