Chandler Limited RS660 Compressor is a mono, stereo-linkable valve compressor/limiter developed under Chandler's Abbey Road Studios equipment line. The user manual specifies a two-space 19-inch rackmount chassis with internal power supply, transformer-balanced XLR input and output, 15 kOhm input impedance, selectable 200/600 ohm output impedance and a 1/4-inch mono link connection. The valve inventory is one 6386, one 6CG7 and one 6AL5. Controls include variable input and output, switchable compressor modes for THD, Limit and Comp, seven-position time constant selection, switchable link defeat/bypass, front-panel balance function and output impedance switching. Power is preset internally for 120 V or 220 V, with a 0.25 A 250 V SLO-BLO fuse, IEC power inlet and recommended 10-minute warm-up before passing signal.
