Description
The CRANE SONG HEDD Quantum is an audio converter featuring both AD and DA conversion with independent clocking applied to each. The unit includes six word clock outputs, allowing it to serve as a master clock for a complete digital system while simultaneously functioning as a converter. It offers selectable dither for 16 or 20-bit output, optical inputs and outputs, and DSP emulation of tube and tape characteristics. The AD, DA, and ASRC utilize AKM 32 components with proprietary analog filtering, and operational modes allow simultaneous use of both converters at different sample rates.
