The Earthquaker Devices ZEQD-Pre is a tube preamp pedal developed in collaboration with Dr. Z, featuring a studio-grade preamp circuit with Bass, Mid, and Treble EQ controls. It includes a transformer-balanced XLR DI output for recording or front-of-house use, alongside standard 1/4" connections, plus Pad and Ground Lift switches for signal optimization. The pedal maintains high headroom to preserve clarity when stacked with other effects.
