The Electrodyne 2501 is a 19-inch rack-mount dual mono preamp based on classic 1969–1970 discrete transistor design. It features two individually optimized amplifier stages with transformer coupling, an active DI circuit, and a dedicated power supply. The transformers and components match original specifications, with the DI output designed to interact directly with the mic input transformer for expanded tonal options.
