The Elysia xmax 500 is a stereo mastering processor featuring multiband compression with low-, mid-, and side-band processing for detailed dynamics control. It includes a soft clipper derived from the alpha compressor, variable crossover frequency, adjustable band linking via VariLink function, and a one-knob shelving equalizer for tone shaping. Analog metering provides visual feedback on signal levels, compression, and clipping activity.
