The Grimm Audio LS1v2 is an active two-way floorstanding studio monitor and hi-fi loudspeaker sold individually or as a stereo pair. Each cabinet pairs an 8-inch magnesium woofer with a 1-inch dome tweeter, driven by two 180W Hypex NCore Class D amplifiers and a 48/76-bit DSP that performs Computer Aided Calibration, phase correction, and an LR4 crossover at 1550 Hz. The sealed 14-litre cabinet is suspended between two half-cylinder legs that act as an integrated floor stand, and it accepts both digital and analog inputs while offering a filtered analog subwoofer output. It reproduces bass down to 35 Hz on its own and includes excursion and thermal driver protection.
