Description
The Groove Synthesis 3rd Wave 8M is an 8-voice, 2-part synthesizer featuring wavetable, analog-style, FM, and sampling synthesis across three oscillators. It includes a Dave Rossum-designed 2140 analog low-pass filter with variable saturation and a SEM-style state-variable filter (low-pass, high-pass, notch, band-pass modes), which can run in series for complex tone-shaping. The unit offers a 7-inch display with six encoders for performance control and measures 21" × 12" × 8".
