Description
The Groove Synthesis 3rd Wave is a desktop wavetable module offering 24-voice polyphony and 4-part multitimbral operation. Each voice includes three oscillators that can generate classic 8-bit PPG wavetables, high-resolution anti-aliased wavetables, or analog modeled waveforms, with the ability to create up to 64 custom wavetables using the built-in Wavemaker or by converting audio samples. The module features dual analog filters—a Dave Rossum-designed 2140 low-pass filter with variable saturation and a SEM-style state-variable filter—that can run in series for complex tonal shaping. Each of the four independent parts has dedicated stereo outputs, independent panning and volume, and dual effects.
