Description
The H2 Audio 0011 is a microphone preamp and three-band equalizer module based on the Helios console channel design from the 1960s. The preamp section features the original Helios 2128 circuit with 70 dB of gain in 5 dB increments, a Lustaphone input transformer, a 20 dB pad, and balanced line input. The inductor-based EQ includes selectable low and mid-frequency controls with a fixed 10 kHz high-frequency section, phase control, EQ bypass, and a switchable high-pass filter at 40 Hz or 80 Hz. An output amplifier and transformer allow the module to drive 600 Ohm loads up to 25 dB before clipping.
