Product details

The John Hardy M-2 is a single-channel studio microphone preamplifier housed in a 19" rack-mount chassis. It features a Jensen JT-16-B input transformer, discrete 990 op-amp, and capacitor-free signal path. The unit offers a 16-position gain switch with 1% metal-film resistors providing 3dB stepped gains from 15dB to 60dB, and can be configured with either a 20 OHM MIC switch or 20dB PAD switch. Additional channels and options can be added later.
