Description
The John Hardy M-2 is a 2-channel studio microphone preamp housed in a 19" rack-mount chassis. It features a Jensen JT-16-B input transformer, discrete 990 op-amp, and capacitor-free signal path. The unit offers a 16-position gain switch with 1% metal-film resistors providing gain settings from 15dB to 60dB in 3dB increments, and can be specified with either a 20 OHM MIC switch or 20dB PAD switch. Additional channels and options may be added later up to the mainframe's total capacity.
