Description
The Josephson Engineering C716 is a cardioid condenser microphone featuring a dual-diaphragm capsule with a 5 micron gold diaphragm, designed for vocal and instrumental recording. Its hard metal foam grille structure reduces internal reflections for clean sound capture across varied acoustic spaces. The microphone incorporates a class-A FET front end with transformerless balanced output and a linear high-voltage supply for low-noise operation, with all components manufactured in the USA. Internal shock mounting allows direct stand attachment without additional accessories.
