Description
The Josephson Engineering C725 is a studio condenser microphone featuring five switchable directional patterns and a warm/cool selector via its included regulated power supply. The capsule uses patented aluminum foam construction for minimal internal reflections and clean sound capture, with internal shock-mounting allowing direct stand attachment. The signal path combines a custom low-noise FET with a pentode vacuum tube in a cascode configuration, paired with a custom nickel-core output transformer, delivering either warm character at 40 mV/Pa or neutral response at 10 mV/Pa. The microphone arrives brand new with a satin nickel finish.
