Product details

The Josephson Engineering OSSDISK is a stereo microphone system consisting of two pressure microphones spaced 165 mm apart and mounted on opposite sides of a 300 mm diameter acoustically treated disc. At frequencies below approximately 200 Hz, both microphones capture identical signals; above this threshold, the separation increases with rising frequency. The disc's acoustic treatment creates frequency-dependent and angle-dependent differences in the channels' frequency response, while diffraction effects occur around the disc's edge based on frequency and incident angle.
