Lauten Audio Eden LT-386 is a large-diaphragm pressure-gradient tube condenser microphone. Lauten specifies a 38 mm dual-diaphragm capsule, EF806s tube, custom-wound U.S.-made output transformer and three selectable polar patterns: cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8. Its Multi-Voicing switch selects Forward, Neutral or Gentle analog circuit paths, and a three-position high-pass switch is placed after the tube and before the Multi-Voicing and transformer sections. Published specifications list 20 Hz-20 kHz frequency response, at least 120 dB dynamic range, 130 dB max SPL at 0.5% THD/1 kHz, output impedance below 200 ohms, self-noise below 12 dB(A) and sensitivity of 16 mV/Pa, also listed as -36 +/-2 dB re 1 V/Pa at 1 kHz. The microphone uses 5-pin XLR from PSU to microphone and 3-pin XLR from PSU to preamp, includes flight case, power supply, cable and suspension mount, and has Cerakote/nickel finish. .
