Product details

The Looptrotter SAT 500 is a studio saturation unit that increases RMS levels with character modeled on vintage tube consoles and tape machines. It features a LO SAFE option with pre-emphasis circuitry to prevent low-frequency distortion on bass-heavy sources, and a BAND SPLIT mode that applies saturation only below selectable division points (800Hz, 2kHz, or 6kHz) while keeping highs clean. Independent dry and wet controls and a DRIVE knob manage saturation depth, with LED indicators showing saturation at 4 and 8% THD.
