Description
The MAAG AUDIO PREQ2 is a dual-channel microphone preamp and EQ system in a 1U standalone unit. Each channel features a discrete class-A transistor preamp with Maag audio-built input transformer, offering up to 71dB of gain with +27dBu headroom and -128dB EIN noise floor. The unit includes switchable +48V phantom power, -20dB pad, phase flip, and peak LEDs per channel, plus line and microphone XLR connectors on the rear panel with separate outputs. The preamp incorporates Cliff Maag's air band shelving equalizer design first introduced in 1993.
