Description
The Michigan Synth Works SY-1 is a two-voice drum synthesizer featuring two oscillators per voice and six sound modes that combine and modulate oscillators with a noise channel. Each voice offers independent controls for tuning, decay, sweep parameters, LFO settings, and oscillator modes ranging from standard drum synthesis to metallic and noise-based tones. This brand-new unit replicates the original Pearl SY-1 Syncussion design while using modernized manufacturing processes, with components and layouts compatible with the original device. The SY-1 accepts drum trigger inputs and is compatible with modern 5V trigger signals.
