The Michigan Synth Works Xena 6 Voice SMR is a hybrid polyphonic synthesizer featuring six voices with digital oscillators and analog SMR filter cards per voice. The SMR filters provide a 4-pole OTA low-pass response modeled after the Shruthi SMR4mkII design, offering smooth analog-style character. The instrument supports full 6-voice polyphony, layered splits, and multi-timbral operation with individual voice outputs for flexible routing and external processing.
