Description
The Microtech Gefell M940 is a side-addressed condenser microphone designed for broadcast and studio applications including vocals, dialog, and instrument miking. Its cardioid capsule features a smooth frequency response with a presence peak between 7–11 kHz, paired with exceptional rear and side rejection. The microphone employs an impedance converter circuit that minimizes noise while maximizing output capability across a wide dynamic range. It connects via standard 3-pin XLR and requires 48V phantom power.
