Description
The Microtech Gefell M950 is a condenser microphone designed for professional and semi-professional studio applications including vocals, announcing, dialog, and instrument miking. Featuring a side-addressed design with cardioid or super-cardioid polar patterns, it delivers a smooth frequency response with a slight presence peak between 7–11 kHz and exceptionally high rear rejection. The capsule and electronics are elastically suspended to reduce mechanical noise, while the advanced impedance converter circuit ensures a low noise floor and wide dynamic range. The M950 requires 48V phantom power via standard 3-pin XLR.
