Description
The MUTEC MC8 is an eight-channel digital audio interface and sampling rate converter that transforms AES3 signals to AES3id format. It functions as both a format converter and signal splitter/distributor, supporting audio from 32 kHz to 192 kHz with flexible synchronization options including Word Clock, AES11, and internal reference. The unit includes clock recovery and regeneration to maintain signal integrity, a HOLD function to preserve audio output during reference loss, and settings storage in non-volatile memory.
