The Pioneer Toraiz AS-1 is a monophonic analog synthesizer with a fully programmable synthesis engine based on discrete analog circuitry. It features parameter knobs for tone shaping, a touchpad-style keyboard and slider for real-time performance control, and includes seven on-board effects plus digital distortion. The AS-1 functions as both a standalone instrument and sequencer for studio and live use.
