Not for Home or project studios and anyone wanting a plug-and-play active monitor: the MB2S is passive and requires a separate 200-800W amplifier (or three amps for tri-amping), plus tri-wire/tri-amp cabling into 4mm sockets. At 49kg each and 870mm tall it is heavy and large, so it is impractical for small desktops or nearfield-only setups.
