The PMC10 XBD is a three-way, four-driver active studio reference monitor built as a dual-cabinet system. A main cabinet holds a 34mm soft-dome tweeter, the PMC75v3 midrange driver, and a 10-inch bass driver, while a second XBD cabinet adds a matching 10-inch bass driver wired in parallel to extend low-frequency output. Both cabinets use PMC's ATL transmission-line loading with LaminairX vents and are powered per channel by a single external PMC master36 DSP/Class-D amplifier supplying 800W to the tweeter, 800W to the midrange, and 1000W to each bass driver, for 3.6kW total. The system accepts analogue and digital inputs up to 192kHz and is configured and room-aligned through the browser-based SoundAlign2 interface over a LAN.
