PMC positions it as the successor to the BB5/6 lineage used in major studios, and it scales into center-channel (vertical/horizontal centre) variants, SUB additions, and XBD twin-cabinet systems for bigger rooms.
Not for Home, project, and most midfield-scale studios: each cabinet is over a metre tall (1040mm), weighs 97kg, and requires an external rackmount Master36 DSP/amplifier per channel plus wired-LAN configuration. PMC's own PMC10/PMC12 (which share the same HF/MF technology) or its nearfield/midfield ranges are the appropriate tier for smaller rooms.

The PMC15 is a 3-way active ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) reference main monitor from PMC, built on the lineage of the company's BB5/6 large-format studio monitors and introduced with PMC's new Main Monitor series announced at NAMM 2026. Each cabinet combines a newly developed 15-inch bass driver, a 75mm PMC75v3 soft-dome midrange with n-compass dual-profile waveguide, and a hand-built 34mm soft-dome tweeter. Each channel is powered by an external rackmount Master36 DSP/amplifier delivering 3600W per cabinet (800W HF, 800W MF, 2000W LF), with digital crossovers, excursion protection, and room EQ configured over LAN through PMC's browser-based SoundAlign2 interface. It accepts analogue and digital inputs up to 192kHz and can be used vertically or horizontally, expanded with the PMC15 SUB, or upgraded to a twin-cabinet XBD configuration.
