Description
The Retro Doublewide is a single-channel variable-mu tube compressor module for 500 Series racks. It features four NOS 6BJ6 pentodes and two Cinemag transformers in a complementary push-pull topology, with fully floating transformer-balanced inputs and outputs for line-level signals. The compressor offers continuously variable attack and recovery times plus two timing modes—Single and Double—for dynamic program-controlled response, and includes a hard-wire bypass switch for quick comparison.
