Its analog section recreates 16 circuits from the TR-808 and TR-909 — Roland's first true analog drum machine in over 40 years — alongside ACB-modeled circuit-bent 8X/9X variants, FM, virtual-analog, and PCM voices. The integrated sampler supports stereo sampling/resampling, time-stretching, and non-destructive slicing across 64 GB internal memory (46 GB free for user content). It provides four layer tracks, analog and master effects, a hands-free Song mode, and extensive I/O including individual outputs/triggers, DIN sync, filter CV input, and a USB-C audio/MIDI interface.
