Description
The Sanken CSS-5 is a stereo shotgun microphone featuring three switchable modes: mono for sharp directivity across frequencies, normal stereo with 120-degree width for accurate localization, and wide stereo with 140-degree width for sound effects and ambient recording. The microphone offers exceptional rear rejection at 180 degrees even at low frequencies, and maintains mono-stereo compatibility without phase-related comb filtering when summed to mono.
