Description
The Schlappi Engineering BTFLD is a distortion and wavefolder module featuring a four-bit asynchronous analog-to-digital converter. It includes a folding output with a sawtooth wavefolder circuit, a stepped bit-crushed output, and square wave outputs for frequency multiplication or distortion effects. The module can generate rhythms by routing envelopes or LFOs into its inputs and using the bit outputs as gates, or be integrated with other four-bit modules like the Nibbler and BTMX for four-bit computing and logic-based patching.
