SCHOEPS describes the MK 2H as an omni capsule for natural-sounding recording at medium indoor distances, with a mild acoustic high-frequency elevation above 6 kHz and common use in A/B stereo and Decca Tree setups. Published specs list 20 Hz-26 kHz frequency range, 17 mV/Pa sensitivity, 10 dB A-weighted equivalent noise, 84 dB A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio and 130 dB SPL maximum SPL with CMC 6. The CMC 6 amplifier adds P48/P12 phantom-power operation, XLR-3M output and RFI Shield.
