Description
The Schoeps MK5g is a switchable-pattern condenser capsule offering omnidirectional and cardioid modes from a single membrane design. In omni mode, it functions as a true pressure transducer with smooth low-frequency response and minimal sensitivity to wind, breath, and handling noise. The cardioid mode maintains full directivity across the frequency range, including at very low frequencies. A slight high-frequency presence distinguishes it from the single-pattern MK2 (omni) and MK4 (cardioid) capsules.
