Description
The Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor features dual compression sections—an Optical section with an Electroluminescent Optical Attenuator for smooth gain reduction and a Discrete section with a Voltage Controlled Amplifier for precise dynamic control. A Sidechain Filter prevents frequencies below 90 Hz from triggering compression, while Output Transformer Switching Technology lets you select between Nickel, Iron, and Steel transformers to shape tonal character. The unit includes VU metering and a Magic Eye Indicator Tube for level monitoring and operates in dual mono or stereo modes.
