Product details

The SSL VHD+ is a 500-series preamp and DI module built around Variable Harmonic Drive technology, which uses an all-analog signal path to add harmonic distortion to incoming sources. The switchable VHD mode lets you dial in anything from subtle valve-style warmth to aggressive 2nd or 3rd harmonic distortion by adjusting input gain, while traditional clean SSL preamplification is also available. This unit brings preamp architecture from SSL's Duality console to modular 500-format systems.
