Description
The Sonifex AVN-AESIO8R is a 1U rack-mount converter that bridges eight stereo AES3 digital audio channels with Dante Audio-over-IP networks. It accommodates input sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz with integrated conversion to match the Dante system rate, while outputs operate at the Dante system's sample rate. Dual Ethernet ports enable redundant networking to prevent audio loss during link failures, and the unit powers via PoE with front-panel indicators for power, network status, clock sync, and AES3 locks. Configuration occurs through Dante Controller software; the device supports AES67 compliance and Dante Domain Manager integration.
