The Sonifex AVN-GMCS is a PTP grandmaster clock for Audio-over-IP applications that synchronizes networked audio devices with sub-microsecond precision. It supports multiple PTP profiles including Default, Media, and AES-R16-2016, with an 8-nanosecond time-stamping resolution. The unit features GPS, PLL, and TCXO oscillator technology, offers AES-3id and word clock outputs at frequencies up to 192 kHz, and includes dual power supply inputs and front-panel configuration controls. A built-in real-time clock preserves date and time during power loss.
