The Sound Devices MixPre-3 II is a portable three-channel mixer featuring low-noise Kashmir preamps, recording up to 32-bit float at 192 kHz sample rate, and 142 dB dynamic range. It records to SD card or streams via USB, accepts multiple power sources including AA batteries, and offers extensive customization of gain, phantom power, timecode, and other parameters. The compact, rugged design accommodates both advanced users and those in Basic mode, with optional control via the Wingman App.
