Description
The Tegeler Audio Vocal Leveler is a single-channel optical compressor in 500 series format, adapted from the Vari Tube Recording Channel. It features gain reduction and output level controls, a three-way time constant toggle offering slow, fast, and auto settings, and a VU meter displaying gain reduction. A second toggle enables bypass and linking of multiple units. Designed primarily for vocals, it delivers consistent leveling with an open, analog character and is also effective on bass and other instruments.
