Description
The Matrixplexer is a 4x4 2D matrix mixer for modular synthesis offering three scan modes—Scan, Stack, and Scroll—to select and animate mixes across inputs and outputs. Scan mode uses X and Y controls to access specific crosspoints, Stack mode sequences channels in rows or columns, and Scroll mode employs internal LFOs for continuous matrix movement. The Shape parameter adjusts crossfade slopes from hard switching to smooth crossfades. Four DC-coupled inputs feed four output mixes, each with mute switches and low-noise VCAs; Clock and CV inputs enable external synchronization and modulation.
