Description
The Waves eMotion LV1 Classic is a digital mixing console for live sound, including front-of-house, monitor, and broadcast applications. It processes 64 mono/stereo input channels and 44 mix buses (8 groups, 24 auxes, 8 matrices, 3 masters, cue) on a built-in SoundGrid DSP server with a double-precision 32-bit floating-point engine at 44.1-96 kHz and latency as low as 0.8 ms. The control surface combines a 21.5-inch multi-touch screen with 16+1 motorized 100 mm Alps faders, 16+1 encoders with mini-displays, and 68 rubber toggle switches. Onboard I/O includes 16 digitally controlled mic/line inputs with Waves Signature Preamps, 12 line outputs, AES3 stereo input and two stereo AES3 outputs, with channel expansion over SoundGrid interfaces on a 1 Gb Ethernet network. Seventeen Waves plugins are pre-installed, and the console records 16 tracks locally to USB or 128 tracks to and from remote computers.
