Not for Players who specifically want a genuine vintage germanium fuzz — the Eureka! uses silicon transistors and only voices germanium-like mid-range, so it is not a true germanium circuit. Also skip if you need a blend/clean-mix control, onboard presets, or a battery-free/USB-powered pedal.

The JAM Pedals Eureka! is a handmade fuzz guitar effects pedal built by JAM Pedals in Greece. It uses silicon transistors in a proprietary circuit that combines the mid-range voicing of germanium-style fuzz with a Big Muff-style fuzz distortion. Controls are Level, Tone, and Gain knobs plus a three-way toggle that adds increasing amounts of bass boost (0, +1, +2), with the top toggle position producing a gated-fuzz response when fed a strong enough signal. It is true bypass, runs on a 9V battery or a center-negative 9V DC adapter drawing 8 mA, and each unit is individually hand-painted.
