Vintage 1972 Fender Jazz Bass Body - Original 1st Year Natural Finish!
Vintage Fender Jazz body from 1972. It has the holes for a finger rest under the strings (in 1973 Fender moved them above the strings to use as a thumbrest). This is also the first year Fender ever offered Natural finish! Lots of honest wear, checking, dings and scratches from age and use. There are NO extra screw holes, NO mods, NO issues. It's ash - 6 lbs 3 oz. Original ground plates for the pickup and control cavities are included. Relics can't recreate the real deal! Will make a great vintage project or restoration.
