Akai E2 Headrush Delay/Looper

Akai Headrush E2 delay/looper being sold in excellent condition.

This is probably the best delay pedal and looper 2 in 1 of its generation in my opinion and still beats other delay pedals for me to this day. I used it in a project with my wife for about a year without heavy use, just a few demos. I'm now selling all of the pedals from that project we did because we made the sound we wanted and decided it was fun but we only have time to focus on recording and performing other genres that are of more interest to us.

The looping of this pedal is excellent for the purpose of drones or live performance such as the demos we recorded. In my opinion it also handles ambient music loops very well so I ran it at the end of the signal chain after a few fuzzes and a volume pedal.

It was heavily used throughout the 2000s by many big bands such as Radiohead and the Akai Headrush E1 was used by Sunn O))). We used it for a genre of music we came up with ourselves and recorded our demos with our producer late at night after work. I wipe down all pedals before shipping. I always shop for the best shipping rate, pack pedals so they arrive safely in the same condition, and offer to refund excess shipping charges.
